How does Noise Blocker’s licensing work? Is it a one-time fee or subscription based?

When you purchase Noise Blocker you get a perpetual license that lets you install and use the current application indefinitely. This is a one-time payment. Your purchase also includes updates and priority support for 12 months.

During those 12 months, any updates, new features and improvements released will be available to you, free of charge.
We also prioritize support for customers with an active license.

After those 12 months, you can keep using the version of Noise Blocker you have, for as long as you want. However, you will not have access to future updates, unless you decided to renew your license. In practice, this means if you install a version released after when your update period ended, you will be asked to downgrade to an older version or renew your license.

An expired license can be renewed at a substantial discount, giving you access to another 12 months of updates.

What type of license should I choose?

If you intend to use the application yourself, whether for work or at home, you should consider a single user license.

If you are a business considering the application for use in a shared environment (multiple users on a single computer) you should consider a shared use license.

Can I try Noise Blocker before I buy?

Yes and we strongly encourage you to do so!

Noise Blocker is available as a free trial download that allows you to fully evaluate the application prior to purchase. When in trial mode, the application blocks 1 hour of noise in a daily period. After which, the virtual microphone will continue to work, but no noise will be blocked.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If you are not happy for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will revoke the license and refund you in full.

Are my card payments secure?

We completely understand wanting to keep your credit/debit card safe online and have set up our payment system to be as secure as possible.

We use Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe is an industry leader in payment processing. It is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 (the highest grade of payment processing security), handles billions in transactions each year and is trusted by millions of businesses. Stripe has stringent built-in safety measures that vendors have to go through.

When a purchase is made, credit card information is encrypted, routed and processed only through Stripe's state of the art data-centers.
We never have access to or store your full credit card information on our servers.
We receive a confirmation of the payment from Stripe and the email used for the purchase, which in turn we use to generate and send over a license.

How many computers can I use a single user license on?

A single user license can be used on up to three computers, at one time, as long as they belong to you. For example, your home PC, work laptop and one additional device.

The license can be reassigned to another PC you own. For example, if you replace your home PC, you can deallocate the previous device, and use the license on the new device instead.

You may also share the license with any family members living within the same household. However, this license cannot be reassigned/transferred to another person.

How many computers and users can use a shared use license?

A shared use license allows multiple users to use Noise Blocker on a single computer. It is best suited for a shared environment, such as a call center. The license can be reassigned to another PC if needs be.

After, if the app seems like a good fit, we offer a free pilot program so you can fully test and evaluate the application within your organization and with your agents prior to any purchase.
